This website is intended to present information that may be of interest to hobbyists involved with

Light Microscopy (LM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Imaging

A Summary Format is used and each Topic is selected from discussion threads within the
Yahoo Microscope Group.

All 35,000+ text messages posted with this Group have been archived, so that hobbyists may benefit
from the knowledge base accumulated from 1999 to this date.
Both hobbyists and professionals, with many years of experience, have contributed to the knowledge base.

The selected Topics have an emphasis on technical issues related to microscopy and imaging;
along with information on the use, modification and maintenance of equipment manufactured prior to 1980.
