This is the working instrument of R.B. Tolles, but the mirror is missing.
It has a nosepiece and fine adjustment, and the stage has a
hemispherical condensing lens in addition to a swinging focusing sub-stage.

Tolles is famous for his pioneering work on immersion objectives.
